I am an Analytics Consultant in the healthcare industry. I am passionate about building meaningful stories using data. My journey in data analytics began 4 years ago when I attended Depaul University in Chicago, IL as a masters student. I became interested in the world of data science after taking an introductory course in which I learned how predictive analytics could be used to impact business decisions.
I built my first ML model while attending DePaul and have since been curious about how data can be used to impact our communities. My areas of interest include healthcare, responsible AI, social determinates of health, and how data can be used to positively impact communities. I also have a love of biology and scientific data! If you have an interest in using data to impact any of these areas, I would love to connect!
Projects
Project was completed using multivariant machine learning techniques in which data from breast mass cells from fine needle aspiration were analyzed to determine likelihood of breast cancer diagnosis. I completed logistic regression analysis for the project. Code can be found on my Github page titled “Final Project Breast Cancer.”
This project was performed in collaboration with a team of classmates. My contribution included determining how a hypertension diagnosis increased or decreased the likelihood of a heart disease diagnosis. Code for project is titled “heart disease analysis” on my Github page.
This project includes visualizations for summer Olympics data from 1976-2008. My focus for the project included visualizing Olympian participation overtime, and differences in Women’s and Men’s participation in the summer Olympics.
This project involves using PL/SQL to create a movie database. The movie database is manipulated using PL/SQL procedures. Information is queried from the database using SQL.
